About Us
Helping stray puppies and dogs to find new families.
We are a non profit organization, based on the Island of Lefkas, Greece
Run by 3 friends who have been active in local animal welfare for several years.We also have a small team of dedicated volunteers who help us with feeding, getting the dogs used walking on a leash and puppy cuddling.
In 2019 we were able to buy some land to house our shelter and be able to help more dogs and puppies find suitable loving homes with help of some marvelous partner foundations and charities.

Rescue puppies and dogs
To rescue puppies and dogs who have been abandoned or mistreated and find them loving homes. Every animal in our care,, is vet checked, fully vaccinated, micro chipped, is given regular parasite medication and sterilized if old enough.

Street dog feeding
Street dog feeding and sterilisation program – every evening we feed around 18 street dogs in different parts of the Island (all females have been sterilised).

Why not Long Distance Adopt one of our Resident Dogs?
To help with their feeding costs and vet bills. Some of our dogs will never be able to leave us for various reasons. They live happy and fulfilled lives with us and our volunteers make sure they are part of one happy family. You can help support them with any size donation either monthly or yearly and we will email you on regular intervals with updates and pictures on their progress .

This is Charlie - found with a broken skull and other terrible injuries tangled in a football net with his dead brother after being used as target practice by footballers. The youths who did this were never caught. Now with us for over 3 years he loves the volunteers and other dogs and is a very happy with his life but gets upset if anything changes in his routine. A lovely boy who will stay with us forever!
